I’m back with another silk top – something I’ve been all about lately. Since the weather is picking up a little, I’ve been leaving the house sans trench or peacoat, opting for a lighter blazer or cropped jacket, so I’ve naturally been reaching for and looking to fun tops to pair them with. This silk blouse from Amanda Uprichard is not only in a fabulous sky blue color, but an awesome cut. Take a second look at the collar… there is none! The plunging v-neck is an awesome sexy twist on this classic short-sleeved blouse.

Monday brought some unexpected June showers to San Francisco, but it wasn’t something that a colorful number couldn’t pick me up from. This sleeveless silk blouse by MILLY screams summer holiday when worn with white pants, but I must say I’d love it just as much underneath a black blazer. Larger bold prints and halter necklines are generally more forgiving of bustier ladies, like myself, and are flattering without being too revealing or distracting. The chainlink strap detailing is an adorable and funky adornment, and I like the designers decision of keeping the cut classic but the finishing touches young. And how awesome is this bright fuchsia? This piece is so totally me.

I’d love to see this rocked with bangles, a headband and summery loose waves. Very much à la Nicole Richie or Vanessa Hudgens!
