Wallis Stone Oversize Spot Scarf

Wallis Stone Oversize Spot Scarf

I’m moving in less than two weeks and this evening while boxing up some clothes, I came to realize I am quite the scarf hoarder. Instead of instantly buying this scarf when I saw it online, I’m taking it straight to the blog so someone else can discover it. I love the neutral fall hues on this patterned scarf which will make it versatile year-round, not just for this season. Snatch it up before someone else does. That’s the cue for me to put my credit card back in my wallet, but it’s just so hard.

When it comes to scares, there hardly is one I can pass up. Whether solid, printed, or patterned, I’ve got to have them all. I love this classic striped scarf from Banana Republic because the colors are nice and neutral and the stripes are of varying widths. Heading back to school? Saloni Multicolor Sunset Birds Print Scarf

Saloni Multicolor Sunset Birds Print Scarf

Living in the Bay Area, it’s quite normal to wear scarves all year round. Even on typical spring and summer days it can go from pleasantly sunny at lunch to chilly and blustery cold when you leave the office for the day, so stylish scarves are one of my favorite accessories to wear out the door or tuck in my purse just in case. I recently came across this gorgeous silk-cashmere blend scarf by London-based, Indian fashion designer Saloni Lodha, which I can’t take my eyes off of; it just needs to become part of my scarf repertoire.  The beautiful colors, organic style, subtle fringe, and bird motif all make it a unique piece, one that everyone will be begging to ask who it’s by. Though a splurge, the time is now to scoop up this stunning scarf from the Autumn Winter 2011 collection on clearance at 50% off.

Nicole Miller African Oblong Scarf

Nicole Miller African Oblong Scarf

Something about this scarf stopped me immediately in my websurfing tracks. Maybe it’s that I have a need for more color in my drab winter wardrobe? Or perhaps it’s my obsession with scarves in general? This 100% silk scarf from Nicole Miller is just the right part geometric and the right part abstract. I say that because flattened out or folded strategically in a certain way, it appears very symmetrical and exact, whereas looped around the neck and tied in a knot, it appears very complex and intricate. Slightly reminiscent of a traditional African kente cloth, I absolutely love the bright pops of magenta, pale pink, marigold, and cornflower blue. I guarantee this is a scarf you’ll receive compliments on and an endless begging of the question, “where did you get that at?”
