What I love most about this dress is the blend of both classic and vintage: you have a classic shift dress silhouette with a bold, vintage colored print. Pair with nude heels and a jewel-toned clutch and you’ve got a stunning outfit. This is an indie designer on the cusp, based out of Chicago, that all our readers in the windy city and beyond should know about. Motel has some of the greatest unique and affordable party dresses out there. I just love their Annelise Bodycon Dress, pictured above, which pays homage to the tropical motif of the ’50s and the bright colors reminiscent of the ’80s. The print incorporates elements of all my favorites; tribal, animal, and floral, for one killer dress you won’t forget. It’s fun but still sexy.
