Chloe Nude Bicolor Ankle Strap Sandal

Chloe Nude Bicolor Ankle Strap Sandal

One of my favorite springtime styles are understated sandals, much like these from Chloe. I love the balance of nude to black, a play on the major black and white color combo trend for spring. For this shoe lover, who also happens to be a nail polish junkie, basic colored sandals like this are great because they can work with any outfit color palette or pedicure du jour. These are classic designer heels that have just endless versatility.

As someone who loves and collects classic crew neck and v-neck tees, I love printed or patterned bottoms to pair them with. This adorable, totally twirlable skirt from ModCloth will look so great mixed with heather grey or white t-shirts, statement jewelry, and platform booties. The classic a-line is very flattering and the pale gold or deep nude metallic fabric can play either the supporting or lead role in an outfit. The choice is yours!

Banana Republic Abigail Stripe Scarf

Banana Republic Abigail Stripe Scarf

When it comes to scares, there hardly is one I can pass up. Whether solid, printed, or patterned, I’ve got to have them all. I love this classic striped scarf from Banana Republic because the colors are nice and neutral and the stripes are of varying widths. Heading back to school? This is a perfect accessory for a dash of sophistication in an everyday ordinary outfit.

Sam Edelman Sophie Low Wedge Sandals

Sam Edelman Sophie Low Wedge Sandals

I just love a low profile shoe that sneaks you in a bit of added height. These minimalistic colorblock sandals by Sam Edelman are perfect for spring and summer with the nude/brown base offset by a coral strap. I love the design and the little lift and horizontal straps can actually elongate and accentuate the legs. The color scheme goes with just about anything and would look great with both a neutral or bright pedicure. Adorable with a skirt, sundress, romper, capris, or just about anything else, these shoes have got my mind and body wishing I could be wearing them in another place right now. Anywhere but this rainstorm currently hitting San Francisco!

Secret Krush Corner Heidi Dress

Secret Krush Corner Heidi Dress

For anyone not quite ready to rock a loud print or a bold floral, I think I’ve found the perfect subtle spring print dress to recommend to you; it’s the Heidi Dress by Secret Krush Corner. It’s a gorgeous pinky-nude shade with a hunter green geometric print that isn’t too bold and can easily be accessorized many different ways. It just screams boho chic paired with brown leather sandals,  gold cuffs, and a fishtail braid, but it could also go business casual with a navy blazer, loose curls, and silver jewelry. The length is just right and it looks like the ultimate comfy cut. Note the belt is not included, but that just gives you the opportunity to tailor it to your own personal style.

Our friends at Secret Krush Corner, an online boutique based in the Bay Area, have generously offered our OMGbuymeTHIS readers a discount code for their online store. Poppy Nude Chiffon Inserts Dress

Poppy Nude Chiffon Inserts Dress

If there is one color I think you should pull to the front of your closet this year, it’s orange. Not only is it my favorite color in general, the more red-orange and tangerine shade is going to be the trendy color of 2012, according to the Pantone Color Institute. And if you’ve followed this blog for some time, you know we have a soft spot for dresses with sexy cutouts and inserts (as seen here, here, and here). That said, I can’t help but love this hot bodycon mini dress by David Lerner. The bright poppy shade is gorgeously off-set by the, very carefully placed, nude inserts along the sides under the bust. Instead of always highlighting my jewelry, shoes, or makeup, I think I have finally found the perfectly bright and bold statement dress to wear out.

NYX Round Lipstick in Circe

NYX Round Lipstick in Circe

For a night out on the town, one of my favorite looks to rock is a deep smokey eye with a nude lip, it just never gets old!  While it doesn’t have unanimous reviews on MakeupAlley, NYX’s Circe shade is one of my go-to nude lipsticks because it’s easily wearable when applied with just a sheer wash of color. When applied in a more concentrated fashion, you get a more bold yet barely there, muted lip that looks killer on a bronzed and contoured face. NYX is well-known as a high quality drugstore makeup brand, and this round lipstick line is one of their best products in my opinion. The lipsticks have a nice creamy consistency to help your lips feel quenched and totally kissable. And at less than $2, how can we say no?

When picking out a color, just be sure to run a quick Google search on shade swatches since the color swatches on Cherry Culture are a little darker than the shades are in real life.
