Day 21: Your Favorite Lipstick! Another short and sweet post! This fall I have gotten into lipstick like never before. Having had a pretty bad experience as an 8 year old at my aunt’s wedding (smeared literally from ear to ear), I tend to stay away from lipstick in general. BUT – the MAC counter girl got a hold of me a few months ago and showed me the light. Lady Bug by MAC is part of their Lustre collection and I absolutely love it. It works with pale and tan skin and is a really gorgeous color for fall! (Just don’t let your 8 year old’s get a hold of it!)

I’ll take this one as favorite makeup brush because there is one and only one brush on this planet that has literally changed my life. Two years ago when I first entered a MAC store for a birthday makeup consultation, I was introduced to the #224 Tapered Blending Brush. I had never come in contact with a brush that could hold color, blend and highlight perfectly, without getting eye shadow all over your upper cheek bones. I bought two on the spot and will definitely put forth a recommendation to try one out!
