A+ BOTANICS is a botanical skin care line from California, rooted in the purest of ingredients. You know I love natural and paraben-free skin care, so this is right up my alley! The line features cleansers, toners, lotions, serums, masques, and more targeted at skin concerns such as acne, aging, and discoloration. So while the products are natural, wholesome, and mostly organic, they promise to be effective too! All of these products are priced at $29, are cruelty-free, and also are proudly made in the USA. For my oily to combination skin, I’m most interested in trying the Bilberry AHA/BHA Anti-Acne Cleanser, the Neroli Nourish Toner and the Rosemary Anti-Acne & Oil-Controlling Masque. Since I’ve been showing a little more leg on vacation, and starting to self tan more regularly, I’ve made it a habit to moisturize my skin religiously every day as soon as I get out of the shower. Besides my 100% pure unrefined extra virgin coconut oil I apply at night, I use a lighter product that absorbs more quickly in the day and I’ve recently been stuck on Pacifica’s Body Butter in Tuscan Blood Orange. This is a fabulous natural product that contains high quality ingredients like shea butter, almond and safflower seed oil, and mango butter. The scent is absolutely strong, bright ,and citrusy, with subtle finishing notes of Madagascar vanilla. While this is a thick body butter, I find that it blends well over my legs and arms and doesn’t leave me waiting long to put on my clothes after application. Nourishing enough to be a daily hand cream and body moisturizer, I was using this product non-stop last week on my trip to Kansas City, where I was strutting a little more skin on the hot and humid Midwest days. I just love that this product is paraben-free, cruelty-free, and 100% vegan. Replacing it will be a breeze, too, because this product is thankfully carried at Target!
