Sorel Tofino Waterproof Boots

As a Bay Area native, I’ve never really experienced a true freezing cold winter. As a kid, I envied the snow days, making snowmen in the front yard, and white Christmases I had heard all about from distant family and friends. So this California girl has never owned a pair of legit snow boots, and I’ve found just the pair to pack for trips to Tahoe (if there will ever come snow this season) or possibly for trips to even chillier climates (Utah, Colorado, British Columbia, who knows!). I’m loving the chic quilted texture and faux fur that line these lace-up snow boots, which are much more versatile and utilitarian than the UGGs I own. They’re waterproof and look like they have decent traction for trudging through the snow. Fingers crossed these boots go on sale since it’s the end of the season soon!

Uncommon Nighthawk Hood

Now this piece is surely unlike anything we’ve shared before, even after nearly a years-worth of torturous posts on pieces we’re dying over. Unsure how to even categorize this post (outerwear? sweater? both?), we can definitely agree that nighthawks are fierce, and this hood shrug is no different. Linked with a delicate chain, channel Robin Hood, Braveheart, Princess Mononoke, or whatever other valiant hero you fancy, and take on the night. Wear it as a statement over the plainest of tees or LBDs; while it might not be the best habitat camouflage, you’ll at least look stunning while stalking your prey. Go get ’em.
