Living in the Bay Area, it’s quite normal to wear scarves all year round. Even on typical spring and summer days it can go from pleasantly sunny at lunch to chilly and blustery cold when you leave the office for the day, so stylish scarves are one of my favorite accessories to wear out the door or tuck in my purse just in case. I recently came across this gorgeous silk-cashmere blend scarf by London-based, Indian fashion designer Saloni Lodha, which I can’t take my eyes off of; it just needs to become part of my scarf repertoire. The beautiful colors, organic style, subtle fringe, and bird motif all make it a unique piece, one that everyone will be begging to ask who it’s by. Day 7: DVF Kenley animal-print cashmere scarf

Day 7: Something Animal Print! There are many ways to approach animal print in this day and age. For some it’s a more Jersey Shore approach, cheetah print dress, leopard print shoes, zebra print headband, etc. and for others there’s a more refined approach if you will such as select animal print pieces used sporadically thought the wardrobe. This super cute DVF scarf is a perfect selection for either approach! Throw it on with your fav cheetah print mini, or your fav little black dress and your good to go! Aqua Cashmere Raw-Edged Shawl Collar Hoodie

Bloomingdales is where I fell in love with cashmere. And their signature Aqua line cuts no corners in quality – their whole cashmere line is quite the bang for buck with 100% cashmere sweaters in mainly in the $100-$200 price range. This cozy oatmeal cash’ hoodie has raw edges giving this sweater a unique flair. Love this so so so much.

p.s. yes it is August and yes this would just about suit the crummy weather we’ve been having lately.
