If you haven’t heard of GiPSY Dharma boots before, you must not read this blog because I’m a huge fan and have written several pieces on them in the past. As in, it will work for iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and Blackberry users! Made of a genuine cowhide leather, I just love the vintage finish these boots have. They’re not only practical, but very stylish! What’s also wonderful is that there are two calf sizes available  which few shoe manufacturers offer, ever. I think I will absolutely live in these when it comes to going out year-round in SF. Perfect for rocking with a dress, jacket, and you’re out the door… no purse needed!

In San Francisco, there’s an event nearly every single weekend where you can experiment wildly with style. Whether it’s the How Weird Street Faire, Bay to Breakers, or Pride, there’s always an occasion to step outside in something you normally wouldn’t wear everyday. I recently found these handmade lace-up leather boots by Gipsy Dharma and thought they were just absolutely perfect for summer festival season coming up. Bet you wish you had these at Coachella last month, right? Embrace your inner forest pixie or Pocahontas in these supple leather boots with moccasin style feet. I love the warm tan color and intricate leather braiding that give it a unique touch. Of course, I adore the laces that are forgiving on any calf size. Although this is an indie designer find, this UK gem also ships to the US, Canada, and Australia. Basically all the other countries I’d like to attend music festivals in. And if you’re into cosplay at all – I think these could make for a great twist on Link! Just as long as you don’t steal my idea for Halloween.

As a Bay Area native, I’ve never really experienced a true freezing cold winter. As a kid, I envied the snow days, making snowmen in the front yard, and white Christmases I had heard all about from distant family and friends. So this California girl has never owned a pair of legit snow boots, and I’ve found just the pair to pack for trips to Tahoe (if there will ever come snow this season) or possibly for trips to even chillier climates (Utah, Colorado, British Columbia, who knows!). I’m loving the chic quilted texture and faux fur that line these lace-up snow boots, which are much more versatile and utilitarian than the UGGs I own. They’re waterproof and look like they have decent traction for trudging through the snow. Fingers crossed these boots go on sale since it’s the end of the season soon!
