Enza Costa Chiffon Pleated Maxi Skirt

Enza Costa Chiffon Pleated Maxi Skirt

How many of us have space for this maxi in our wardrobe? This dusty pale rose maxi skirt will look great with denim jackets and chambray shirts, along with leather biker jackets and cropped tops this spring. The billowy chiffon is slightly wrinkled, with tons of pleats, has a polished yet bohemian vibe that will work well for so many occasions. As a huge fan of blush tones and all things comfortable, this is a must have item for me.

Ok guys, what are your thoughts on creme blush? Do you love it, hate it, want to try it? I was recently watching a Pretty Shiny Sparkly video where she talks about this fabulous YSL blush, and I think I’ve gotta try it! It’s supposed to have this velvety feel and will make your cheeks radiate instantly. I think it looks pretty amazing and have bumped it to #1 on my beauty to do list!

Free People Patched Bodycon Tube Dress

Whenever I’m going out but fear being stuck in a style rut, I reach for a sexy tube dress to reinvent with shoes and accessories. I absolutely love this ruched blush toned tube dress by Free People and I think it’ll work great with just about anything. Leather clutch? Yes. Studded heels? Yep. Statement bejeweled necklace? Absolutely. I love reaching for any edgy or loud accessory item that works as a great contrast against such a feminine frock.

Benefit Hervana Face Powder

Benefit Hervana Face Powder

If you haven’t seen or tested out a Benefit boxed powder before, I highly suggest you locate the lovely Benefit display next time you’re at Sephora and give them all a spin. Hervana, a “good karma” face powder, is the newest addition to their already impressive permanent collection of high quality blushes, highlighters, and bronzers. Swirl the pinwheel segments of shell, peach, rose, and berry together to create the perfect natural pink heavenly glow to your cheeks. And, like all Benefit boxed powders, it even includes a mini travel-friendly brush in the box. Although it appears completely matte in the photo above, customer reviews confirm Hervana gives off a slightly sheer but buildable, semi matte yet satin finish to the skin. Well, I just can’t think of anything more angelic.

MAC Gingerly Blush

MAC Gingerly Blush

It’s no secret; I’m a blush fanatic. Some of my favorite blush brands being Benefit, elf Studio, and NARS, I must give credit to MAC for being the leader of the pack when it comes to quality and color selection. About a year ago I raved about Dollymix, but now I have found a new shade to lust after, and it’s Gingerly. This terracotta-like blush has an overall warm brown shade with hints of orange and red underneath, which produce a warm, flattering glow on the cheeks, without looking overdone. Since this is a Sheertone shade, the color in the compact is far darker than what shows up on your face, so you get a really sheer transfer from pan to brush to finally skin. Although I discovered this in the fall, I think it’s about time I make the purchase with a Nordstrom gift card I received for Christmas. And applied with a light hand, I think this could be a functional blush, year-round. I’d like to give a special thanks to beauty blogger & YouTuber Amarixe for the recommendation!

MAC Dollymix Blush

MAC Dollymix Blush

Looking for a vibrant yet wearable color to cheer up those postmortem-holiday, bleak, January blues? This blush by MAC is of a Sheertone Shimmer finish, meaning it’s something slightly sheer with a faint shimmer, thus making this shade, ‘Dollymix’, much less potent Barbie magenta pink than it looks in the container. I love the flirty flush it gives to my medium-fair skin tone (Fresco in Estee Lauder Double Wear & NW20 in MAC), but I think it would suit any skin tone because of the sheer yet buildable formula. Layer it with a sheer dusty pink or coral for your desired effect du jour. A permanent fixture for your makeup bag, year round.
