Curvy Kate Black Princess Bra

Curvy Kate Black Princess Bra

It’s been a while since we’ve featured a great bra on OMG, and I’d like to share this fabulous one from Curvy Kate, a fabulous range specializing in D-K cup lingerie that I’ve just discovered.  Their Princess Bra is both sexy and supportive, featuring underwire cups and semi-sheer mesh. It’s topped off with embroidered detail, scalloped edges, and an adorable pink ribbon, all of which are a far departure from the frumpy granny bras that dominate this end of the cup size spectrum. I’m really quite impressed by the level of detail put into this bra, all while staying super affordable.

Rhiannon Mariani for Curvy Kate USA Star in a Bra 2012

Curvy Kate USA is currently running the Star in a Bra USA competition, where one lucky gal will become the first American spokesmodel for the brand. One my dearest girlfriends, Rhiannon Mariani, pictured above in the Curvy Kate Angel Bra, has made it into the top 10 finalists! I’d really appreciate it if you could check out her entry and vote for her on the Curvy Kate USA Facebook page. I can’t think of anyone else who could deserve this opportunity more, and your vote would mean a lot. In the words of Rhiannon, “Women of America: I have big boobs and I deserve cute bras! And so do you!” Amen, sister, and thank you Curvy Kate!

Chantelle Intimates ‘Sensua’ Convertible Bra

Chantelle Intimates 'Sensua' Convertible Bra

Being big busted is not all it’s cracked up to be. Especially if you have a smaller frame and only genes to blame; not a plastic surgeon to thank. Bra shopping is tough, and here’s a newsflash for everyone: Victoria’s Secret offers a very poor range of sizes. Many stores, uncomfortable bras and failed bra fittings (VS’ associates fitted me as a 36C on multiple occasions) ago, I found Chantelle Intimates by way of Nordstrom, and I’ve never looked back.  Chantelle is my favorite bra line of all time because it boasts a solid range of sizes across many band widths and cups, helping you find a true fit. All Chantelle bras are handmade in France, and while they’re on the pricier side, they fit and feel like a dream. They come in so many staple and cute styles, and it’s what brought me to this strapless bra – something I’d never thought I’d be able to wear as a 32DDD. Worn with or without the convertible straps, this one tames the twins like none other. Trust.

I’ll take it in both colors, please.
