As a lover of solid tops, tanks, and blouses, I enjoy a good printed skirt to spice things up. Spring time is synonymous with floral print and I think it’s only right I shared this piece I’m eyeing from Minkpink on ASOS. It’s got that skater skirt A-line flare and twirl to it, which I love, and a funky floral print that feels a bit vintage. I also dig the unusual pairing of mint green and rose red that’s unlike anything else I’ve ever seen. It may sound silly, but I came across this bikini and immediately bookmarked it for my upcoming Midwest vacation this month. What better way to sport your American pride than dipped in red, white, and blue stars and stripes out on the lake this Memorial Day weekend? Lately I’ve been reading up a lot on high tech beauty gadgets, a world I haven’t dabbled much in besides my experience with the Clarisonic Mia. Laser hair removal has always been something that I didn’t think was for me, but I’ve seen several review videos of this exact IPL system by myVISS which piqued my interest. IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light, which is technically a bright, broad-spectrum light that can zap hair and eliminate it at the root. Sure it sounds scary, but it’s basically a simplified laser treatment that some people pay lots of money to have done at medical spas. This VISS IPL system is a super simple at-home device that uses changeable light cartridges that you flash against dry skin. From the reviews I’ve read and videos I watched, lots of people have had great results with no hair growing back and at the very least, having reduced hair regrowth that is finer and thinner. While this is an expensive kit, I think it’s absolutely brilliant there are different cartridge add-ons that are suitable also for treating acne and blemishes, reducing sebum and killing bacteria. From what I hear, the lamp cartridges give you a really good value versus going for regular waxings at the salon or treatments at a medical spa. It’s painless, easy to use, compact, and totally high tech. Definitely a gadget that will pay for itself if you’re a regular salon waxer or a spa facial junkie.
